Patio party area

Think of this as your own personal patio. Just like you would go to a neighborhood park to celebrate a birthday, just bring your food and drinks. We take care of the rest! We do have a BBQ too if needed. You bring the charcoal etc. We also have a lawn area (not pictured) with more seating and a childs picnic table and full adult picnic table. We have a normal bathroom with sink for washing hands etc.

About Bale of Fun Farm

We are a family-run, family-fun farm located in West Petaluma. We have the perfect location for your child's next birthday celebration, playgroup adventure, group picnic, or field-trip (field-trips during summer months only). We are not open weekdays (some exceptions during summer months). We guarantee a bale of fun!

We have lived in Sonoma County our whole life. Our farm started with 3 goats and quickly grew into a farm with over 75 animals. We are the family who cannot turn down an animal who needs a home. 80% of our animals have been rescued or surrendered to us. If we have the space and the resources, we will take in most animals that need to be rescued or re-homed. We also welcome donations of supplies, feed, shelters, etc. for the care and upkeep of our rescues. Our animals range from chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, goats, a miniature horse, a donkey, a pony, a quarter horse, doves, pigeons, dogs, cats, bunnies, pot-belly pigs, guinea pigs, a jersey cow, a tortoise, a bearded dragon, and many different birds. They all get along and enjoy each other's company for the most part!

We have a passion for children and a passion for animals. We have 3 daughters and years ago, before we lived on a farm, we had such a hard time finding a place to pet farm animals, or a place to have a farm birthday party when they were young. Hence the creation of Bale of Fun Farm. A place where young children can enjoy life on a farm, celebrate a birthday, have a picnic, feed animals, pet animals, hold animals, and even take a pony ride. So many things to do on our farm we had to share! We even offer 3 different weeks of SUMMER FARM CAMP. Our most popular attraction. We post our Booking Calendar each January. TIPS for Getting Here:

We are located in West Petaluma off Roblar Road. Turn up the PAVED driveway at the 1st Eucalyptus tree. Look for the small sign (pictured here) on the Eucalyptus trees. If you pass the long line of Eucalyptus trees you've gone too far. Once you turn onto the long paved driveway, we are located on the left at the top of the 1st hill. Look for the small wagon wheel and the Bale Of Fun Farm signs.We look like a NORMAL HOUSE. Our farm is behind our house! We have a 5th wheel in the driveway too. Park so people can still drive thru. Hosts park at Welcome sign at 1st garage door! Enter on the side with the garage, follow path around. Watch out for the chickens and ducks!
